11 Dec Where we see dollars & cents – they see a fresh, hot nutritious meal

Providing children with an education and a future requires so much more than just building schools. It requires addressing the obstacles that prevent children from staying in school.

In the communities we support, most children don’t get even one nutritious meal a day and they’re acutely malnourished.

Persistent droughts threaten the livelihoods of families, lead to poor nutrition among both children and adults, and subsequently reduces regular school attendance.

Students are often forced to drop out of school and find temporary employment to earn money and help feed their families.

That’s why we ensure every child in the villages we serve receives a hot nutritious meal daily. They also plant gardens so families have access to their own produce.
