07 Aug CEO Space Community Represent how much of a difference we can make when we come together
I recently had the honor of speaking at the CEO Space July Forum held in Las Vegas, Nevada where I shared the stage with my dear friend and greatest supporter, Bob Proctor. It was a full house as Bob took the stage. People were on the edge of their seats to hear from a man they deeply respected and revered and his words were powerful and illuminating.
In his presentation, he beautifully demonstrated to the audience how selling and giving are one in the same when we truly come from a place of service. He set the stage beautifully as I was invited to share my own journey of transformation and heartfelt mission.
Having just returned from visiting our projects in Kenya and Uganda, my emotions were raw with the memories of every child we met in the last two weeks and the unimaginable experiences that many of them face every day just to survive.
The audience met me and my heart with an outpouring of love and support. The CEO Space community has a legacy of generosity and they wanted to help. That night, they graciously donated or committed to monthly contributions over the next year to sponsor two villages that will educate 140 children every day as well as provide life-saving resources to their entire family in Kenya.
I am in awe by the generosity of people who demonstrate their caring in such a tangible way and I would like to extend my deepest thanks to everyone at CEO Space for their support and partnership in this important work. In particular, I’d like to give a heartfelt thank you to Berny & September Dohrmann, Jack Duffie, Cheryl Brenner, Kim Burney and the entire executive team and incredible CEO Space staff.
I would like to also thank Bob Proctor, Sandy Gallagher, and Gina Hayden for your continued and unwavering commitment and partnership in this mission.
I am keenly aware that I cannot do this work alone and the generous and ongoing support of the Proctor Gallagher Institute and the CEO Space community represent how much of a difference we can make when we come together.
