Working with our in-country partner, the Just Like My Child Foundation, the Unstoppable Foundation has impacted the health, education, welfare, and safety of over 700 children and thousands more in the surrounding communities.
Our funding has also supported the employment and training of the teachers who live at the teachers housing. Having teacher housing on site creates more safety and security for children at risk of abuse, health issues, early mortality, along with a host of other issue endemic to the developing world.
Because effective schools often become a stabilizing epicenter for rural villages in Africa, the ripple effect of this investment will exponentially magnify over the years, affecting countless lives.
Just Like My Child’s comprehensive and robust model spans education, microfinance, justice, empowerment, income-generation training, and public health outreach and support in Uganda’s Luwero and neighboring districts.
