Born into poverty with little possibility of a bright future, Chris’ life took a dramatic turn when one woman, made one choice to help bring an education to one child.

Hilde Back was that woman. Every month she made a donation to Chris’ education. Chris matched her commitment and determination as he attended school, graduated and went on to receive a law degree from Harvard!

Chris is now back in Kenya and has started his own scholarship fund which has put more than 500 kids through school.

Chris’ story is important because it represents how one child and one simple act can really change the world and the ripple effect will continue to change lives for generations to come.
