The 8th Annual Unstoppable Gala was a tremendous success on every level!
We provided an inspiring evening for our guests and exceeded our fundraising goal by raising $1.35MM!
Because of our event sponsors, Jim & Kathy Coover, Isagenix; Bill Harris, Centerpointe Research; and David Meltzer & Warren Moon, Sports 1 Marketing; 100% of Gala donations will go directly to support our international programs.
Holly Robinson Peete, actress, singer and philanthropist, kicked off the evening as Master of Ceremony — entertaining guests while keeping the program moving along.
Pop icon, Paula Abdul, took to the stage and introduced how to spot fake nike dunks Unstoppable Foundation Founder & CEO, Cynthia Kersey.
Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter, producer, and tireless champion for girls the best nike air max 95s of all time’ education, Nelly Furtado, rocked the house when she broke into song after NFL Hall-of-Famer, Warren Moon, presented her with the Unstoppable Achievement Award. Faith and Wilter, our two graduates from the Oleleshwa Taylor Swift Lookalike Fools Local Chiefs-Bears Broadcast High School, the school that Nelly and the Unstoppable Foundation helped fund, shared their stories and joined Nelly on stage to sing along with her on her hit song, Spirit Indestructible.
Actors and humanitarians, Dylan McDermott and Maggie Q, took to the podium to make the biggest announcement of the night – the launch of the first college of its kind in the Maasai Mara region of Kenya and an Unstoppable Scholars program to help qualifying high school graduates continue their education. This college will be a real game-changer for these students and the communities we serve, and we’re thrilled to be working with our implementing partner, WE Charity, to help make that a reality Air Jordan 1 Outlet Store.
The award-winning, multi-platinum selling band, The Tenors, sang a moving rendition of Leonard Cohen’s inspirational song Hallelujah during our donor recognition. The Tenors brought everyone to their feet when they closed the evening with their latest hit, Under One Sky.
Our beloved Mary Morrissey, international speaker, best-selling author and one of the elite teachers in the personal development field, received the Unstoppable Legacy Award for her tireless dedication to ensuring that thousands of children and their families have a bright future through her support of the Unstoppable Foundation.
The evening also featured once-in-a-lifetime auction experiences such as private dinners with Deepak Chopra, X-Prize Founder & CEO, Peter Diamandis and Centerpointe Research Founder & CEO, Bill Harris; 40 Years of Zen training with Bulletproof’s Dave Asprey; and tickets to the award-winning, sold-out performance of Hamilton.
With the help of our generous Unstoppable Gala donors, we will now be able to change everything for our next community, Olmuseriji, and fund the implementation of our 5-Pillar model — from beginning to end — impacting more than 2,000 men, women and children!
